What is it?

The culmination of BAM’s data harmonization and integration is high-resolution, large-scale predictive models of bird density to support species conservation and land-use decisions. Over the years, BAM has produced a number of publicly-available models and tools that can be used for management and conservation.

We also work with partners to produce custom models of bird density for specialized needs. Please contact us to learn more!

Decision Support Tools

BAM works with partners to leverage our models for decision-support, including conservation planning and more.

BAM and BEACONs SFI Represenation Assessment Tool
Developed by BAM and BEACONs with support from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), this online tool helps users assess how well SFI-certified forestlands represent bird species and other conservation indicators across spatial scales, from individual ecoregions to the Canadian boreal region.
